Hello, I’m Gabriella Fernandez, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. My work is grounded in the belief that healing is possible, not by fixing what’s “wrong”, but by understanding what’s been carried, protected, and survived. I bring an inviting, curious, and collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from CBT, DBT, IFS, and Brainspotting. I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships and identity exploration.

In the space we create together, you will have the ability to slow down, listen to your body, and start to rebuild from the inside out. You don’t have to have all the answers to begin. You just have to show up.

You’ve carried enough alone.

About Me

  • I received my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University in 2023. I also received my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education in 2020 from East Carolina University. Prior to stepping into therapy full-time, I spent 5 years teaching middle school in Pitt County.

  • I love working with college students and young adults navigating life. I know how overwhelming this stage of life can be, and I love helping others find their own rhythm and strength.

  • Collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I believe humor is also a very important part of therapy (In moderation, of course). I focus on creating a space that feels like it belongs to you. Where you can enter, plop on the couch, open a snack, and start talking.

  • When I’m not in sessions, I love spending time in nature, playing guitar, listening to music, binge-watching old TV shows, and hanging out with my dog. I also enjoy video games, scrolling on TikTok, and hanging out with my friends.
